Today I have an awesome tip for you as it relates to networking. Many people forget this important step and as a result they miss out on the key components to networking. You have to begin by running to 1st base before you can advance. One of the first things I taught my son in little league baseball was how to run the bases. He wanted to skip first and go straight to second because after all it was quicker! He wanted to get to home faster and score a run.
As silly as that might seem to you, many people do the same thing when it comes to networking for a job. They have a haphazard way of networking and never really give networking a serious thought.
