I also really agree with #3 one of my early resume strategies was to write 30-50 bulleted action oriented points from my career experience and then create a new resume for every job description that I came across. The problem that I ran into was that I couldn't keep track of all my resumes and then when I went into an interview I ended up handing the interviewer a different resume then they had received from me earlier.
