Job Search Secret #11 The Power of Craigslists Jobs

by Jonathan on 4:21 pm

Today I have another Job Search secret for you. We are counting down to my #1 Secret for uncovering the hidden job market. These videos are some of the same techniques on use on a daily basis to uncover hidden jobs and gain new clients as an Executive Recruiter.

In this video, I am going to talk about the power of Craigslist . In my opinion, too many professionals automatically discount the validity of Craigslist. They mistakenly believe that it is just used for buying other people’s trash. The truth is Google loves Craigslist and it is not owned and operated by Ebay. Sure, it is not the flashiest website you have ever seen, but it gets a ton of traffic every single day. My perspective is simple, where there is traffic there is opportunity. Opportunity for you to use it to your advantage.

So, watch the video and see if there are some tips that you might be able to use in your job search strategy.

Remember, visit often as we countdown to my #1 Job Seach Secret (Released on August 1st). Stay Tuned!

I love Craigslist and I have no problem looking on their job page. I have actually gone to quite a few interviews for jobs I found on there. People think I’m crazy… thank you for proving I’m not!

you are not crazy. Craigslist is definitely worth getting on your radar. It gets a lot of traffic and search engines like google love Craigslist. So, when employers post their ad there for free..they can get a good response.

Thanks for this posting. Though I have used Craigslist, I was unaware of the Resume aspect. I will give that a shot.
