I have a short video for you that I think will be extremely helpful to you in your job search. As you may know from reading this blog, I am not a huge fan of online job boards. It is not that you should use online job boards as a part of your job search strategy, but most people use it as their ONLY strategy. Only 20% of people surveyed stated that they found their last position on the online job boards.

I point is this: streamline using online job boards as much as possible. In other words, get what you want and move on. Don’t waste precious time with the online job boards.

In this video, I cover a fairly new website called Ingboo. Ingboo has many practical applications, but I recommend that you give the jobs section of ingboo a try.

It operates like a bookmark but it has a simple and effective interface.  You can see multiple search returns on one page which can save you several minutes of time. In other words, you can be on the lookout for Controller positions in Atlanta and view each of these job boards on one page:

  • CareerBuilder
  • HotJobs
  • Monster
  • Craigslist
  • Simply Hired
  • Twitter Jobs
  • Authentic Jobs
  • and others that you add yourself!

You can even set up Ingboo to email you daily updates on any of the new additions to the online job boards that you specify. I think it is worth you checking out and see how it works for you.
