How Do I Keep My Job Search Organized? Free Job Search Tool

I want to introduce to you in a short video a brand new tool for organizing your job search. It is called becomed.com

It is 100% free and very easy to use. I have used many other online job search tools and found them to be very overly-complicated for the typical user. The interface for becomed.com is easy to learn and easy to add information that you collect in your job search.

I believe in it so much that I have everyone of my Job Search Mastermind Students (www.JobSearchMastermind.com ) use it as a part of our Daily Action Plan . (If you would like to join our current students there are still a few more spots available at the time of this writing.)

One of the main features of becomed.com that I like is the ability to quickly add an entire list of companies very quickly. You can use the sourcing tools that I teach to copy and paste a full list of companies and have them added to your database very quickly.

You can also easily add names that you receive from networking and find more information about those people on google, zoominfo, and Linkedin at the touch of a button. I also like that you can easily add your own notes in people profile. It makes a great follow-up series and serves to remind you of prior conversations that you might have had with those contacts.

Besides companies and contacts, Becomed has other tabs that you can add information to that include applications, resumes, cover letters,  and running analytics. You can be as detailed as you want but if you are not interested in learning a new system then this is for you because it is so easy to use and navigate.

I encourage you to watch the video and then check out the site and see if it can be helpful for you in your job search.

Thank you for writing about Becomed! It’s really rewarding to see that people like it and find it useful.

There’s definitely been a lot of thought put into simplifying the job search process when the site was created. The idea was to make it painless to keep on top of the job hunt, and yet still be prepared and have all the information needed to pass the interviews and become employed. The site is growing and evolving and will hopefully be a valuable resource to everyone looking for a job.

By the way, the name “becomed” means “proper” (it’s in the dictionary, I promise), which conveys the hope that by using the site your job search will be smarter and more effective. We also use it as a play on “become” which implies transformation (hence, the butterfly), hopefully, into someone who’s employed :-)

Hello Mike, thanks for the contribution. I have really enjoyed the software. I even go into more depth in the Job Search Mastermind program as to how to use it. Thanks!
